About
Woohee is a New York–based UX designer with a background in advertising strategy. She built a strong foundation in strategy and storytelling at Leo Burnett and Havas, working with clients such as JTI and Samsung. This experience shaped her ability to work within constraints and change, using limitations as a direction to arrive at the most optimized solutions. Now she works as an experience design fellow at Code and Theory, building an AI-driven operating system for the Stagwell network.
One unique aspect of her background is having three families—a biological family in Korea and two host families she lived with during exchange years in Ohio and Georgia. Living across different states and households sparked her curiosity about how culture and lifestyle quietly influence behavior. That perspective carries into her work, where she designs intuitive experiences by accounting for cultural context, accessibility needs, and the different ways people navigate systems.
